Why we need skin tightening
As we age, our skin's natural production of collagen molecules slows down dramatically. This causes us to get fine lines, wrinkles and sagging skin as we get older. As the scaffolding of our skin deteriorates, it loses it's natural laxity and texture leading to less elasticity or skin sagging/wrinkles. Plasma Pen fibroblasting treatments soft-surgical skin tightening treatment method stimulates the fibroblasts in the skin to significantly tighten, repair and eliminate wrinkles.
Following Plasma Pen treatment, the treated area is visibly smoother, the skin is plump and rejuvenated. Any acne scarring is smoothed and more polished looking. Fine lines and deeper lines are ironed out.
How does it work?
First, the Plasma Pen, the precision plasma arc causes immediate superficial micro-trauma to the upper epidermal layer of the skin. Using a controlled electric charge to emit plasma gas energy which extracts oxygen from your skin, causing it to contract and tighten, leaving a tiny dot on the treatment area.
This micro-trauma stimulates the healing process for the creation of new, rejuvenated, tight and smooth tissue over the next 12 weeks. Your body perceives the thermal energy as an injury and rushes to produce new collagen and deploy healing growth factors. This also stimulates fibroblast cellular activity to regenerate cells and to increase elastin production. The skin will start to immediately tighten and noticeable rejuvenation will continue for the next twelve weeks.
Finally, during this phase collagen and elastin are produced, plumping the structure of the skin to soften and eliminate lines and wrinkles.

Is Plasma Pen treatment painful?
The pain associated with Omni Center’s Plasma Pen Skin Tightening treatment is minimal. With the use of physician-grade topical anesthetics, you will feel little to no discomfort. The eyelids are a more sensitive potential treatment area and our clients find they are able to relax and rest during the procedure. During the recovery period following the treatment, there is no pain. Immediately after the procedure, the treated skin will be pink, and some may notice slight swelling around the eyes if the upper and lower eyelids were treated. Small dots, which are tiny scabs, will form. These should remain intact and kept dry until they naturally fall off. You will instantly see and feel tightening after the treatment that will continue to improve as the skin heals over the next twelve weeks.
What does the healing process look like?
The First 3-7 days
The innovative fibroblasting treatments with the Plasma Pen are known to deliver compressed downtimes, higher velocity recovery and superior results. Here is what to expect from each stage of the healing journey following a soft-surgery fibroblasting treatment by Plasma Pen.
In the first 3 to 7 days, tiny carbon crusts appear on the skin as a sign of the new epithelial tissue. These carbon crusts serve as a natural and protective biological dressing, that will flake off naturally as the newly formed and rejuvenated skin appears underneath. The fibroblasting treatment with a Plasma Pen creates Type 1 collagen, that works to minimize the effect and appearance of wrinkles, fine lines and skin aging.
1-12 weeks post treatment
The comprehensive healing response is characterized by the strengthening, plumping, inflation and lifting of the skin. We start to see the reversal of premature degeneration and a stimulation of white blood cells, filling in any gaps created through micro-trauma.
12 weeks - 3 years
12 weeks post treatment, the skin starts to form new blood vessels and release growth factors. These growth factors include “cytokines” – small proteins that help modulate our immune response, our cell ageing and the repair and growth of new cells.
Is the fibroblast skin tightening treatment safe?
The Fibroblast Skin Tightening treatment is FDA-approved, noninvasive, and safe. It stimulates the body’s natural regenerative processes to reveal youthful looking skin. It is extremely effective without the risks associated with traditional facelift, necklift, and bodylift cosmetic and plastic surgery. Our clients resume normal activities with marginal social downtime. This is the perfect time to have the Fibroblast Skin Tightening procedure while many people are still virtually working from home.
How many treatments are needed and how long will the results last?

Given the Plasma Pen Skin Tightening procedure is safe and affordable with minimal social downtime, a second treatment may be performed twelve weeks after the initial treatment.
